FINANCIAL PLANNING

Financial Planning assists people manage and budget for everyday expenses.  It also facilitates the preparation of Wills and Trusts that protect assets so the owner has control over the distribution of real estate and other assets.  If the individual becomes unable to manage own affairs, a plan is in place that designates successive managers of owners choosing.

Any financial concern can be discussed.  If our staff is not able to address the concerns, the owner will be directed to a licensed person who handles such issues. TSS will negotiate with our network of experts to negotiate the lowest cost.

LEARNING CENTER - Back to the Basics = Reading, Writing and Arithmetic

The Learning Center provides childcare for children between ages 2 and 5 who no longer need diapers.  The center provides guidance for social interaction and introduces basic educational skills through practical activities.  We create a learning atmosphere in which instruction is inadvertent.  It appears to be unstructured.  The children learn through fun activities or through play.

The center works on cooperative effort and sharing.  Children practice please, thank you and will you.   They work with numbers, the alphabet and colors.  Phonics, shapes and sight words are added as child develops and shows readiness.  Spanish speaking staff members provide exposure to the language which teaches through emersion.   We use passive teaching methods that are simple and natural. The environment is safe, tranquil and fun.  Each child receives praise and kind, gentle treatment from staffers who care about the children and want to be here.  The children feel acceptance and build confidence through their successes.

Spanish Model:

Teaching the Spanish Language through immersion of 2-4 year olds into a friendly Spanish speaking environment, makes learning a natural phenomena.

MATH / SCIENCE

Hands-on math and science training are a part of every situation where we work with children, adolescents or young adults.  This program provides an environment where the skills are learned through hands-on activities, reading and experimenting.  Youth from 5 – 16 benefit.  They are exposed to various hands-on activities that provide skills that will transfer to other endeavors. The back to the basics old school toys are fun to play with, and something always needs to be repaired.  The scooters, bicycles, go carts and minibikes, and small engine projects provide as much fun as they provide learning experiences.

This youth program can occur almost anywhere; however, the ideal setting is a rustic location with two or three acres and a building.

MOVERS

The moving service is an entrepreneurial venture that moves appliances or other items from point A to point B within a 25 mile radius.  Five rooms of furniture can be moved anywhere within the state.  Our movers will assist the owner or provide the service and/or the vehicles.  Movers take special care to move the items safely.  The items are insured up to the predetermined value of the item(s) being transported.

This venture creates jobs and alleviates concerns for people who are not able or don’t have the time or equipment to accomplish the task.

Sports Competition

Sports Competition focuses on children 5 – 12 years old. We play basketball and soft ball.   The format consists of four age groups divided into teams that practice spring, summer and fall.  The experience lasts for 6 seeks.  Training the first 2 weeks determines skill level.  Youth are coached on fundamentals.  During weeks 3 and 4, we have competitions between local teams that are preselected.   The teams are balanced by ability to create a fair opportunity for each team to win.    During the final block, weeks 5 and 6, we bring together youth from surrounding cities who are participating in the program. We emphasize the importance of doing one’s best, having fun and being a good sport.  ALL of the children will play and get equal time if they do their best, follow the rules and show respect and good sportsmanship.

TEEN CENTER

The Teen Center has activities for all children at certain times; it is run by teens under adult supervision.  It teaches civics, government, business, communication and social skills.  The teens, through a democratic process, elect officers who set the agenda that allows other members to have voice.  At the meetings the youth define goals and choose activities that will be performed.

The center is open at least 2 days per week from 4 – 6:30 P.M.  One hour is set aside for homework, mentoring or tutoring.  The other time is allotted for selected activities, such as socializing, playing the games or grabbing a snack at the concession stand.  On Saturday, the center is open from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.  The officers, controlled by popular vote, decide which activities are available and how much time is allotted.

The activities of the center are controlled primarily by the youth as long as all participants are treated with dignity and respect.

TOURS

Tours is an entrepreneurial venture that provides jobs.  It provides transportation to public places or events such as zoos, museums, ball games, casino or other locations where 3 to 5 people arrange for transportation with a personal touch.  The event must be within a 200 mile radius and the time allotted is limited to a span of 24 hours.  The driver accommodates the wishes of the spokesperson as long as requests are within the limits of preset guidelines of operation.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICE

The Transportation Service is an entrepreneurial venture that makes local and over the road runs.  The service is for people who want specialized service that generally takes less time than standard ground transport in general.  The passenger must be a local or someone whose identity and character can be determined readily.  This service is for the convenience of the people that we know and trust.  There is a small fleet of vehicles to choose from.  Over the road trips must be scheduled in advance.  Terms are negotiated depending on distance, vehicle and duration of trip.

With your support, these programs can grow at an amazing pace.  Some are already active, in action, and others have a written but need financial backing.  The programs have been needed in the community for a long time.  We are eager to advance the concepts.  This level requires funding.
